Our 2018 Fall season is coming up soon. Our important dates:
Meet and Greet with Coaches and Jersey Purchases on August 19th
Preseason Scrimmage Game on August 26th
Season Begins September 9th and runs until November 4th

There are still a few spots left to volunteer and be a head coach of a team this season! We are continuing the coaching discount from last season, where registration costs are covered by the league for all head coaches.

HEAT ADVISORY PRECAUTIONS

AVY FLAG FOOTBALL UNIFORM STANDARD
Beginning Spring 2015, the newly designed official AVY Jersey (Red and Royal Blue) must be worn and tucked in during play at all times. The Referee will be the judge in this case. Jerseys must be kept in good shape.
Solid black athletic (soccer/basketball) shorts (athletic pants for cold weather), no pockets and décor (Sports Chalet, Old Navy)
Rubber cleats and socks are encouraged. Athletic rubber soled sneakers are permissible. Metal spikes are not allowed.
An approved protective mouth guard is required while playing on the field at all times during games and at all practices. These are available for purchase on field at the information booth.
Game flags must be worn properly and not “tied off” to prevent the defense from pulling them off. Tying off of flags may result in an immediate ejection to the player and/or Head Coach.
Jewelry, head-wear and other bodily décor is not allowed (prescription eyewear is permissible).
AVY FLAG FOOTBALL COACHING STANDARD
All of our Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must be approved. The approval process includes an interview with the league President (Head Coaches only), submittal of the AVY volunteer application to San Dimas Parks & Recreation Department, and a Live Scan through the San Dimas Sheriff's Department.
SPECTATOR REMINDERS
While watching the kids play games, please remember to sit only on the sideline at which your team is assigned. For your safety, please stay out of the player box, which extends out ten (10) yards from the sideline.
